If you come during the summer, you will find this beautiful forest just behind our ashram. You can take lovely walks here as you breathe in the clean air and enjoy the pristine purity of this space.

Sunsets are Special
We have the most spectacular sunsets and everyone is usually sitting outside watching the show that nature puts on every single day.
The hill right in front of the ashram has a Devi temple on the top and the road there lights up in the evening – it’s a glorious sight that you have to come to ashram to witness.
Love from our Friends
Going to Dhramshala to do an Advanced Meditation Program with Bawa & Dinesh was just a dream come true. The air, the water, the amazing food and the friendliness of the ashram staff made this course a truly memorable one for me. I don’t think I have ever meditated so deeply before. I can still hear the rustling of leaves, and feel the crispy mountain air. Cant wait to be back.
The Advanced Meditation Program bought me much needed calm and stillness. I came to Dharamshalla hoping to find something… but left it with an even better gift of experiencing Nothing – An Inner peace, I had no idea even existed.
The Dharamshala ashram is just perfect. Everything works. The Yoga Teacher’s Training Program is intense and covers a humungous amount of information and techniques. I feel that the setting made it much easier for me to grasp and apprecitate the nuances of Yoga. Food was great. BTW, Kamlesh and Asheesh are fabulous Yoga teachers. Don’t miss a Yoga course with them.
The 4 days of the Advanced Meditation Program at the stunningly beautiful Dharamshala Centre changed my life. Thank you everyone there for making me feel so much at home. I highly reccomend that everyone should take some time out and come to this amazing place – whether to do a course or simply soak in the atmosphere. I left feeling wonderful. I am coming back for sure!
We simply came here to spend some time in the serene beauty of the mountains. We went paragliding – what an adventure that was! It’s just 2 hours drive away from the ashram and highly reccomended. Besides that adventure, we took long walks around the ashram and were awed by the stunning beauty and silence that this place offers. Totally enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come again and again!
The Dharamshala ashram of the Art of Living is truly heaven on earth. I have done a few advanced meditation programs here. The mountains with meditation really do it for me! A slice of Switzerland right here in India. It’s a truly magical experience, made all the more better with the yummy food and super friendly staff! I am always wanting to keep going back for more.
